In this ESMT Open Lecture, Dr. Min Ye, a distinguished leader in AI and data strategy, will delve into these critical questions. Drawing from her extensive experience across various industries, Dr. Ye will provide insights into creating effective data strategies and AI solutions that meet security and compliance standards. She will also discuss the intersection of consumer perspectives and organizational needs, highlighting practical approaches for making companies data privacy compliant. 

The event will be moderated by Carolin Puppel, program director in executive education at ESMT Berlin, who brings her own wealth of experience in AI strategy and executive education. 

About the speaker

Dr. Min Ye is the founder and CEO of AInvone GmbH, a company she established to deliver tailored data strategies and AI solutions to customers, ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards, including GDPR. She also serves as a senior advisor to the JITRI Research Institute, leading cross-domain international research projects to optimize machine learning models. Dr. Ye’s career includes leadership roles at Zalando and a legal tech startup, where she developed data and AI strategies and solutions, adhering to best practices in data governance. She holds a doctorate in computer science from EPFL Switzerland and completed an ESMT Executive Education program in 2024. 

About the moderator

Carolin Puppel is a program director in executive education at ESMT Berlin, specializing in AI strategy and management. With over 15 years of international business experience, she has worked closely with C-level executives to drive commercial excellence and business transformation in multicultural teams. Her career spans roles at McKinsey, Accenture, and various entrepreneurial ventures, focusing on AI education and strategic implementation. Before joining ESMT, she gained academic experience at IESE Business School with a focus on AI and the German Mittelstand.
