Celebrate summer with us — right in the heart of Berlin! The Spreeinsel Neighborhood Festival — Summer on the Island, brings together local residents, students, cultural institutions, and guests from all over Berlin for an unforgettable day filled with music, inspiring conversations, and culinary delights.

Program highlights:

Live music by students of the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin
Exciting kids’ activities including a bouncy castle, face painting, balloon art, and much more fun to discover!
Panel discussion on urban development, featuring Berlin’s Chief Urban Planner Prof. Petra Kahlfeldt, starting at 5 p.m.
Exhibition on current construction projects in Berlin-Mitte
Food trucks with culinary highlights
Sports zone for older children, young adults, and the young at heart
