About the speaker
Matthew Gain is the CEO of ParshipMeet Group, where he oversees a portfolio of nine apps that collectively enable more than one billion matches and over 100 million video streams annually. Leading a global team of 550 members across seven locations, he is dedicated to fostering human connections and creating opportunities for love and relationships worldwide. Previously, Matthew served as senior vice president and head of Europe at Audible, an Amazon company. In that role, he directed business and content investments, spearheaded growth strategies, and optimized processes across European and Asian markets. With a career rooted in driving innovation and transformation, Matthew’s mission is to leverage his experience to accelerate growth and shape the future of the dating and entertainment industry.
About the moderator
Linus Dahlander is professor of strategy at ESMT Berlin and holder of the Lufthansa Group Chair in Innovation. He earned his PhD at Chalmers University of Technology and completed postdoctoral work at Stanford University. His research focuses on how new ideas and innovations develop in networks and communities, helping managers make better strategic decisions. His work has been published in leading journals, including Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, and Strategic Management Journal, where he currently serves as associate editor.
