Millions of people are helping solve scientific puzzles once thought reserved for experts — discovering new galaxies, tracking disease outbreaks, and co-designing breakthrough medical treatments. Their contributions are transforming how humanity tackles its biggest challenges.
As part of Berlin Science Week, Professor Henry Sauermann — co-author of How and When to Involve Crowds in Scientific Research — reveals how this “crowd science” movement is reshaping discovery across disciplines. Drawing on more than a decade of research, he will share practical tools like the 5 Crowd Science Paradigms while addressing key questions: How can Crowd Science be scaled beyond data-related activities? How do researchers maintain quality with thousands of contributors? How is Artificial Intelligence changing collaboration?
Join us to explore how you can take part in this exciting scientific movement.
