Organizations, in an effort to act more sustainably, often initiate activities that they claim have a “positive impact” on the environment or on society more broadly. What do they really mean by “impact”? And how do they know that their impact has been “positive”? This lecture is about what impact means and how to systematically evaluate whether your organization’s sustainability-oriented activities have a positive impact.
