Join us for the next session of our Today’s Global Leader series at ESMT Berlin, featuring Stefan Grosch, member of the board of management and director of industrial relations, Robert Bosch GmbH. Together, we will explore how massive geopolitical shifts are shaping the strategies, leadership, and innovation pathways of one of Germany’s most globally integrated technology companies. 

In this moderated discussion with journalist Astrid Frohloff, Stefan Grosch will share insights on Bosch’s response to current global challenges, including: 

• How is Bosch positioning itself globally as corporate strategy changes?  

• How does Bosch continue to drive innovation in uncertain times? 

• What new demands are placed on leaders, and how do geopolitical factors influence HR strategies and performance expectations for employees and managers? 

The evening will be opened by Jörg Rocholl, president of ESMT Berlin, with remarks on geopolitics and Germany’s role in global industry and leadership in times of transformation.

About the speakers 

Stefan Grosch has been a member of the board of management and director of industrial relations at Robert Bosch GmbH since April 1, 2023. His responsibilities include human resources and social welfare. In addition, he is responsible for occupational safety, environmental protection and sustainability, legal services, compliance management, and taxes as well as the Bosch business in India. 

Stefan Grosch was born in Mönchengladbach, Germany, on May 19, 1966. He is married and has two sons. Grosch studied business administration at the University of Cologne, Germany, and ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. 
 

Jörg Rocholl is president of ESMT Berlin and Deutsche Bank professor in sustainable finance. He is chair of the advisory board of the German Federal Ministry of Finance and chair of the steering committee of the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM). He is also a member of the board of the Schmalenbach Society, a member of acatech (German Academy of Science and Engineering), a research fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), and a research member of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI).  
 

About the moderator

Astrid Frohloff is a TV and conference moderator, journalist, and business coach. She studied political science, literature, and journalism. After working in Hamburg, Hanover, Austin (USA), and Jerusalem (Israel), she now lives in Berlin.
