It is our pleasure to invite you to Today’s Global Leader with Zvezdana Seeger, member of the executive board, CHO, and labor director, RWE AG. Drawing upon her extensive experience in top positions in which she was responsible for IT and transformation in companies such as Deutsche Bank, Deutsche Post DHL, and Deutsche Telekom, Zvezdana Seeger will address the challenges of leading in today’s versatile and multi-sided business landscape. She will discuss her personal insights on differences between male and female leadership, leading in different industries, energy supply security, as well as the special challenge of managing a critical infrastructure and the associated cybersecurity threat. Tatiana Lluent, assistant professor of strategy and Volkswagen Group junior chair for diversity in organizations at ESMT Berlin, will set the stage with opening remarks. The evening will be moderated by TV moderator, journalist, and consultant Astrid Frohloff.


About the Today’s Global Leader event series

Today’s Global Leader is an ESMT event series in hybrid format. Launched in 2022, the first speakers were Carsten Spohr, CEO, Deutsche Lufthansa AG, and Ola Källenius, chair of the board of management, Mercedes-Benz Group. At the event, business leaders share their leadership philosophies and position themselves on current political and economic topics in an open discussion with moderator Astrid Frohloff. Interaction with a diverse audience, including international students and other young leaders, is guaranteed.


About the speakers

Zvezdana Seeger is a highly accomplished executive who has held diverse leadership roles throughout her career. She currently serves as the CHO and labor director at RWE AG. In this role, she oversees HR services and analytics, employee relations, people management and talent attraction, information technology, as well as internal audit and security. 

Prior to joining RWE AG, Zvezdana Seeger was a member of the executive board and responsible for IT at DB Privat- und Firmenkundenbank AG and at Deutsche Postbank AG. Previously, she held several positions at DHL Global Forwarding Freight and Deutsche Telekom AG. She studied economics at the University of Freiburg. 

Tatiana Lluent is assistant professor of strategy and Volkswagen Group junior chair for diversity in organizations at ESMT Berlin. She earned her PhD in business administration at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. Her main research interest lies in understanding the sources of persistent forms of gender inequality in the economy. She studies the social and organizational processes that produce and perpetuate gender inequality in outcomes such as career advancement, wages, and participation in entrepreneurship. 

Astrid Frohloff is a TV and conference moderator, journalist, and business coach. She studied political science, literature, and journalism. After working in Hamburg, Hanover, Austin (USA), and Jerusalem (Israel), she now lives with her family in Berlin.


In cooperation with
